Comprehensive wealth, tax and regulatory solutions for global Indians.
Whether you are building a retirement corpus from the Gulf, navigating compliance from the US, or planning a permanent return to India: one dedicated relationship manager holds the complete picture. No briefing the same history twice.
Compliance first
"Before we talk returns, tell me how taxation, compliance, and currency are being handled."
Single point of contact
"I cannot brief 10 different people. I need one team who knows my full picture."
Time zone friction
"India office hours never line up with my workday. I need someone who works to my schedule."
End-to-end service
"Can you handle the PF, the property, and the portfolio? Not just one of the three?"
Global Indians face a unique set of financial challenges that domestic advisors are rarely equipped to handle. These are the six we address every day.

"I am earning abroad with no pension safety net. Every rupee I send to India needs to build a retirement corpus that will sustain me when I return."
I want to know: How do I build a meaningful India corpus from abroad without taking compliance risks I cannot manage?
"I am in the US and every India investment runs through a compliance filter first. PFIC, DTAA, double taxation: these determine whether any India investment makes sense."
I want to know: How do I invest in India without triggering IRS complications or paying tax twice?
"My children are settled abroad. I am planning to return to India permanently. I need to structure my wealth for that transition: foreign assets, a retirement home, shifting my financial base."
I want to know: How do I land back in India financially without losing money in the transition?
"I have legacy assets in India (stuck PF, inherited property, old stocks in a Demat account) that I cannot manage effectively from abroad."
I want to know: Can someone handle the administrative and documentation burden while I am thousands of miles away?
Why globally successful Indians consolidate with a single advisory partner rather than managing multiple specialists across borders.
The typical fragmented approach
The Right Horizons integrated ecosystem
Every NRI investment plan must answer one question first: does this structure deliver meaningful value above a simple NRE or FCNR deposit, after currency and tax?
NRO Account
Non-Resident Ordinary
Mandatory for India-earned income: rent, dividends. Taxed at slab rates in India. Primarily used for local expense management.
Taxable in IndiaNRE Fixed Deposit
The Psychological Anchor
Simple and tax-free in India, but fully exposed to rupee depreciation. The benchmark most NRIs use to evaluate all other India investments.
Tax Free in IndiaFCNR Deposit
Dollar-Denominated Protection
Lower headline rate but zero currency risk. Held in foreign currency. Simpler compliance reporting. The anchor for US and Canada investors.
Tax Free and FX HedgedGIFT City
Flexible Dollar Structure
Combines dollar denomination with better liquidity and tenor flexibility than FCNR. A growing option for NRIs seeking dollar-based exposure with more choice.
FlexibleThe plan must demonstrate meaningful value above the NRE baseline to justify the compliance structure and the effort of managing a cross-border portfolio. If it does not, we say so at the first meeting.

The NRI onboarding cycle is deliberately longer than domestic. Validation with an overseas advisor and cross-border compliance review are built in from the start. Most clients who read Economic Times daily come prepared with specific technical questions. We expect that and welcome it.
Step One
Discover
We understand your goals and your full financial picture: geography, current India assets, family situation, and primary concern. No product discussion yet.
Step Two
Plan
We assess current investments, map tax and compliance constraints, and build a customised strategy: post-tax, post-currency, benchmarked against your NRE baseline.
Step Three
Execute
We implement tailored solutions with execution handled end to end, including documentation, KYC, PF retrieval if needed, and first allocation.
Ongoing
Review
Ongoing review and support on a weekend-scheduled cadence, recalibrating as life evolves: job changes, returning to India, family events, tax rule changes.
Typical time from first conversation to first allocation: 3 to 6 months. Reviewed continuously and recalibrated as your life and the markets change.
US and Canada investors
"I am worried about PFIC issues. Every mutual fund in India potentially triggers a compliance problem in the US."
This is the right concern to start with. Not every Indian fund structure triggers PFIC, and the structures that avoid it are well-established. We map your India plan against your US reporting requirements before any investment is made, not after. The compliance review comes first.
Middle East investors
"My NRE deposit gives me a risk-free return. Why take on market risk and currency exposure for a marginal improvement?"
The NRE deposit is a legitimate benchmark and we treat it as one. The plan only makes sense if it demonstrates meaningful value above that baseline after accounting for currency, tax, and the effort of managing a portfolio. If it does not, we will say so.
Returning NRIs
"How quickly can I repatriate money if my plans change and I need funds back abroad?"
Repatriation timelines and limits depend on the account type and the nature of the investment. We document the repatriation pathway for every instrument before it is purchased, not when the need arises. Predictability on this is part of the plan from the outset.
All NRI investors
"I want to validate your plan with my wealth manager here before committing. That will take time."
This is expected and we encourage it. We provide the documentation your overseas advisor needs to review the India plan against your home-country tax position. The validation phase is built into our process. It is not a surprise at the end.
